Hilltop Lumber is family owned and operated. The company was founded in 1988 in Glenwood, Minnesota, and has grown to five locations in the Central Minnesota lakes area: Alexandria, Glenwood, Parkers Prairie, Brandon and Ottertail, Minnesota. All five stores offer a full range of building supplies and home improvement products. The Alexandria, Parkers Prairie and Ottertail stores also include Do It Best Hardware stores. Hilltop Lumber’s new Ottertail, Minnesota, store is now open. The new facility is next door to the old location at 208 West Main Street.

11-16-16 – Local officials, community leaders and Hilltop Lumber employees gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking for Hilltop Lumber’s new showroom and Do It Best hardware store in Ottertail, Minnesota. The new building will be located next to the current facility. It will feature a larger showroom for home improvement products, a kitchen design center, a Do It Best hardware store, plus drafting services, sales offices and conference room.
