The Client wanted to update their dark and tired kitchen. She knew she wanted something white but not too white. We found the perfect off white, lace, from woodland cabinetry. Keeping the same footprint but with a couple minor changes for better storage and functionality. Adding cabinets with rollouts gave the client the storage she needed. We also added cabinets with glass to display her china. This provides a nice transition to the peninsula where they gather with their family.

An addition was built off the kitchen that would serve as a new laundry room, office and space for additional refrigerator and freezer. This room boasts lots of storage and countertop space for extra entertaining, cooking, crafts, etc. There are multiple cabinets with rollouts for small appliances and large drawers. The desk area features file cabinets and a pullout trash for recycling. There is also a secret custom cabinet that hides the Radon tube and the attic access panel.

This space is directly off the kitchen area so the client wanted it to coordinate but not match directly. We chose an Alder cabinet with a greige stain. This transparent stain allows the natural beauty of the Alder grain to show through giving the cabinets a warm appearance versus being solid in color. This provides a nice compliment to the off white in the kitchen.
