Hilltop Lumber’s Orvin Krueger Honored at WCMCA Impact Event
West Central Minnesota Communities Action (WCMCA) celebrated 60 years of community action with an Impact Celebration event on Tuesday, September 24. Orvin Krueger, salesman with Hilltop Lumber, was recognized for his years of service to WCMCA and their Affordable Housing Program. Orvin has been with Hilltop Lumber for 29 years. Below is a testimony from Joe Niehaus, Affordable Housing Director with WCMCA.
“Orvin’s impact on our community extends far beyond the realm of sales. Orvin and Hilltop Lumber have been providing building materials and plans needed to help create affordable housing for families in our area since the beginning of our Affordable Housing Program.
Orvin understands that the work he does is not just about selling products; it’s about building homes, fostering communities, and changing lives. Every sheet of plywood, every roll of insulation, and every nail that leaves the warehouse carries with it the potential to change a family’s future.
But his contributions don’t stop there. He goes above and beyond by sharing his expertise and resources, offering plans and guidance that help our Affordable Housing Program maximize its efforts. He knows the challenges we face and is always ready with solutions. His willingness to invest his time and knowledge demonstrates an understanding of the larger mission at hand: providing homes for those who need them most.
The impact of his work can be seen in the smiles of families who now have a place to call home, each home built is a testament to his dedication to our community.
So, I want to say thank you for the work you do and the difference you make every day to support affordable housing so that every family has a place to call home.”
