Warehouse Receiver/Stocker

Hilltop Lumber is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver/Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping our warehouse running smoothly by receiving, organizing, and stocking building materials and supplies. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help maintain accurate inventory, support daily operations, and ensure a positive experience for both our team and customers. Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments of building materials using forklifts and other equipment
• Verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists
• Safely load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and proper lifting techniques
• Organize and stock products in designated areas for easy access and inventory control
• Perform regular inventory counts and accurately update inventory systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, ideally in building materials or a retail setting
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
• Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
• CDL is preferred but not required
