This Otter Tail County kitchen remodel shows how the right design choices can completely transform a home. The homeowners wanted to move away from their dated golden oak cabinets. Instead, they envisioned a more contemporary kitchen that felt open, inviting, and perfect for family gatherings.
Custom Cabinetry for a Modern Look
The homeowners selected Legend Cabinetry, crafted in Cottonwood, MN, for its durability and style. The FO Rainier door style adds a clean shaker design, while slab drawer fronts create a streamlined look. Next, they introduced contrast by finishing the island, hood, and table in Kodiak, a rich, warm tone. On both sides, the perimeter cabinetry in Glacier brightens the kitchen and keeps the design balanced.
Quartz Countertops with Hidden Strength
With the cabinetry complete, attention turned to countertops. The homeowners chose Viatera Minuet quartz in a 3cm thickness, supplied by Fabricators. This white quartz surface complements both the dark and light cabinet finishes. To support the island table, hidden iron brackets were installed, giving the countertop strength without disrupting the clean design.
Hardware That Completes the Design
Then, to tie everything together, the homeowners added Amerock black bronze pulls in two sizes. The sleek black bronze hardware creates contrast and pulls the entire design together.
